About the Vitamin C Brightening Facial

This facial delivers a potent dose of vitamin C and antioxidants to fight dullness and uneven tone. Exfoliation clears the way, a brightening mask and serums get to work on dark spots and sun damage, and skin is left luminous and protected. It also pairs well with a sunscreen habit for lasting results.

What to expect

  • A short consultation and skin analysis before we start, so the treatment matches your skin that day.
  • Double cleanse, exfoliation and steam to soften the skin and open pores.
  • Extractions where needed, then a targeted mask and serums for your concern.
  • A relaxing facial and neck massage, finishing with moisturizer and SPF.

Before your appointment

  • Arrive with clean skin or let us remove your makeup. Skip retinol, acids and exfoliants for 3 days before.
  • No waxing or sunburn on the treatment area in the week before your facial.
  • Tell Taylor about any medications, pregnancy or recent treatments like Botox or fillers.

Aftercare

  • Expect a healthy flush for a few hours. Avoid heavy makeup, sweating and direct sun for the rest of the day.
  • Keep skin hydrated and wear SPF daily. Hold off on retinol and acids for 48 hours.
  • For corrective concerns, a series spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart gives the best results.

How often should I get a facial?

Every 4 to 6 weeks keeps skin in its best cycle. Corrective plans for acne or pigmentation are usually scheduled closer together at first.

Will my skin be red afterward?

A light flush is normal and fades within a few hours. Extractions and exfoliating treatments can leave slightly more redness, which is why we finish with calming products and SPF.
